Fun Parks & Zoos in Lodi, CA

This is a well kept great little zoo with all exhibits worthy of a gander. From tortoises and iguanas to lemurs and lorikeets (seasonal) this zoo offers quite a few well designed exhibits with more on the way. The staff we spoke with was friendly and answered all the questions we had. So bring your camera, some snacks, and do not forget the cash. FunTown Amusement Park at Micke Grove Regional Park

A fun collection of carnival style rides located within the Micke Grove Regional Park. This retro amusement park brought huge smiles to the kids and quickly became one of their favorite locations to visit. If you’re gonna visit, be sure to bring cash as this is the only form of payment the regional park entrance accepts. Cash also makes it easier to buy cotton candy and tickets for the rides.  More Information

In addition to housing FunTown, Micke Grove Zoo, and The San Joaquin County Historical Museum; Micke Grove Regional Park also has Wortley Lake, The Japanese Gardens, as well as ample amounts of room for volley ball, soccer, frisbee, or whatever your sport may be. There is also a cool water park and many different types of playgrounds for the kids to play on. So get out there and have some fun, just don’t forget the cash as the entrance accepts no type of plastic.  More Information
